DATCA ISKELE APART HOTEL INTERIOR STYLING, MURAL & ARTS PROJECT
It was a very joyful & multi-diciplinary project for me to experiance with İskele Apart Hotel...
The idea comes from Meriç Bora who is the owner & director of Iskele Apart Hotel. Hotel is designed as a boutique hotel and decorated randomly, Mr.Bora wanted to make an impact with turning interior to a conceptual interior with arts and little touches of inspiration from Aegean lifestyle.
In the beginning of March 2022 we started to project by turning useful spaces in harmony with colours and recycling some objects.
We started balancing the colour harmony of the interior and creating a certain standard. Sometimes we redesigned existing objects and items, my team and I spent a lot of effort to create a brand new concept with minimum expenditure.
Aegean touches to details shaped our creative touches, in the end of the project I produced art according to the name of the rooms, first was 'Olive' room that I made a big circle olive tree mural in the middle of the room planned as a breakfast and dining area which gives the feeling of lying under the Olive trees with the warm and cosy shadow...

To use more space we remove the headboard of the bed and I designed and painted a warm rounded geomethrical wall art instead of headboard furniture. Choosing a paint containing bronze & glosses bedroom gains calming aegean spirit with a comfortable space to sleep and have rest in special memories of holidays...
